After a few months of excellent weather we were greeted by a much cooler day at Oakington on September 28th. Rain was forecast but we were lucky as we only had two brief showers during the day.
Time were generally slow with Smith/Brown posting the only sub 3:30 of the day with a 3:29.1
Langworth/Broadhead were close with a 3:30.3 and it was Barker/North who claimed third spot with a 3:34.1
Unfortunately we had no real CD on the day and flying suffered somewhat with a number of pilots keen to pull as hard as possible – a typical British problem when the opportunity arises !
